Embrace the Adventure: Is Teaching Overseas at a Top International School Right for You?
Teaching overseas is more than just a job—it’s an adventure that promises growth, excitement, and a unique cultural experience. But before you pack your bags
Teaching overseas is an amazing adventure, providing opportunities to travel, expand your professional career, and be part of a global learning community.
I graduated from the U of T Education program (the precursor to OISE) and worked as an LTO in the GTA for 2 years before I discovered international schools. I spent the next 26 years working and living overseas – first as a teacher, then principal and international school recruiter. I lived in Singapore, Taiwan, Tanzania, Qatar and China. My family and I have travelled around the world with my teaching career!
I now work for Search Associates, the world’s largest recruiting agency for international schools and educators. I am passionate about helping Canadian teachers like you find exciting jobs at quality international schools worldwide.
If you’re interested in learning more about this amazing lifestyle, let’s get the conversation started! We can set up a phone/zoom call, and you can tell me a little bit about yourself and what you are looking for, and I can tell you how to live your dream.
If you are ready to take the first step. Start your registration process with Search Associates here. This is where you start building your professional profile, which will be seen by recruiters from international schools worldwide.
Special Offer for OISE Alumni
We are offering a one-time 50% discount off the Search Associates registration fee (valued at C$300), which is valid for up to 3 years*. As an Active Search candidate, you will have full access to our extensive database of over 800 vetted international schools and 1000s of job postings. You will also receive personalized “white glove” service from me, your Senior Associate, throughout your recruitment process.
*The Search registration fee is valid for up to 3 years, or until you are placed overseas, whichever comes first.
I look forward to connecting with like-minded global educators!
